November 28 is National French Toast Day

We Love FoodInternet, we have some exciting news for you. This Thursday is one of CPS’ favorite food holidays: National French Toast Day! We look forward to it all year long. Whoever invented French toast was a genius. Wikipedia says it was the Romans. Admittedly, we feel a little let down by the name if that’s true. Here we thought we were being very French and sophisticated. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

We plan on waking up early and making as much French toast as possible. Believe it or not, all of CPS actually has this Thursday off for National French Toast Day! Or some other national holiday at the end of November, we’re not really sure. We just saw French toast and went all tunnel vision at the mention of delicious food.

Have you ever watched French toast being made at a greasy diner? It’s utterly fascinating and mouth-watering. They use a grill – a Hobart at our favorite joint – and slap the soaked bread on there. This just seems too easy. We love food, but most of us don’t have Hobart grills at home. It’s a nice, wide surface so usually rows and rows of French toast are lined up at one time.

That’s, like, the best back-to-back thing since Hulu introduced auto play for TV shows.

We are thrilled to be an Authorized Service Agent of Hobart and provide OEM parts for those in need this French Toast Day. Give a friendly salute to the greasy diner grill line worker who diligently flips your French toast, or the moms and dads of America who make this eggy deliciousness for kids across the nation. Because that’s what America stands for: French toast.
