Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. Joins the School Nutrition Association of Ohio
CINCINNATI, Ohio -- What was once a long time partnership with OSFSA (Ohio Schools Food Service Association)
has now been re-born through the School Nutrition Association of Ohio.
Recognized as the authority on school nutrition programs, SNA has 52 state affiliates, hundreds of local chapters
and over 55,000 members. The Ohio association, originally, the Ohio School Food Service Association,
started in 1968. In 2004, by unanimous vote, the Ohio association officially changed its name to the School
Nutrition Association of Ohio to better align itself with its national affiliate.
Members of the association include Food Service Directors, Cafeteria Managers, Consultants, Directors of
Food and Nutrition, Food Service Coordinators and so on. Many of the members are the key decision makers
for their facilities when it comes to equipment.
Their annual conference is on June 12th in Wilmington, Ohio at the Roberts Center. We will have a booth and
it will be manned by Rob Dowell from the Dayton Branch and Dan Farmer from the Columbus Branch.
“Our goal is to renew our visibility with this group and really push our service departments,” explained
Farmer. “With the recent changes in the service landscape, we can capitalize and make some gains in this
area.”
Commercial Parts & Service, Inc. has been taking care of Ohio’s commercial kitchen equipment needs since
1972, with offices in Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus and branches in Cambridge, Chillicothe, Galion, Lima
and Logan. We are one of only 32 companies in North America to be designated a CFESA certified company
by the Commercial Food Equipment Service Association. |
