I want to share a great service experience I had at your company yesterday. I brought a Wells hot plate in that was shorted out. Your service tech was able to look at it immediately and fixed the faulty wire in about 15 minutes! I left with a repaired hot plate that we really needed working today in the bakery. I had called 3 "appliance repair" shops before hearing about CPS and 3 of them said it would take several days to a week before they would even look at the hot plate.
We actually used to have a quite less comprehensive PM program, for both cooking and refrigeration, at all our locations, with less often scheduled maintenance a couple years ago. One of the things I found was that we could actually track a decrease in service calls needed, and costs incurred from them, when we increased our PMs to quarterly for both hot and cold side equipment. Not just from a R&M budget standpoint, but operationally, we have less instances of a cook line cooler going down during dinner, or a prep oven not cooking the morning before a holiday weekend.
