In the late 60s, Founder Winston Shelton left General Electric to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and need to create something innovative. Winston Industries came into being because of a partnership with the famous Colonel Sanders to meet the needs of his restaurants. The result became a workhorse of a pressure fryer for a legendary restaurant operator, as well as the ability to franchise an entire system. He created a whole new class of cooking and holding equipment that others attempt to copy to this day.
Today, Winston Foodservice, Inc. is an innovative foodservice equipment manufacturer now in its fifth decade of designing, building, and marketing state-of-the-art foodservice equipment for restaurant chains, schools, fine-dining establishments, and other commercial kitchens.
